Thodoris Kouraklis

Thodoris Kouraklis is a Greek musician and clarinetist from Athens. Born into a musical family, he began playing the clarinet at age nine and later focused on traditional Greek music, studying under prominent teachers including Vangelis Papanastasiou and Giannis Soukas. He has performed throughout Greece and internationally with traditional music ensembles. In 2009 he won first prize at the 36th Panhellenic Traditional Music Competition for his performance of the Epirus piece "Ta Klamata." Kouraklis completed his studies in traditional and Byzantine music with top honors. His compositions have been featured in the documentary Istories Petrogefyron and the television series Haireta mou ton platano (2020).
