Chris Bavelles Bio - Before Chris was a Director Producer he was a dedicated athlete playing college basketball and then professional Basketball in Europe. Sports taught Chris a lot about hard work, never giving up and teamwork. After two seasons of European basketball, Chris returned home to Los Angeles.

Chris jumped into Commercials and Reality Television, creatively working on such shows as: The Adventures of Mark & Brian (1992), Worlds Greatest Stunts, HBO Entertainment News, The Home Show and The NBA on NBC Sports. Chris went on to sign with Playboy Enterprises (1995) as Executive Producer of Home Video Production & Development. In his 5 year stay, Chris created, produced and directed 42 Home Videos all shot on film. Chris also created two successful reality style programs for PBTV "Sexy Girl Next Door" and "7 Lives Exposed" and came up with the idea for Playboys first live simultaneous Web/TV cast called "Club Lingerie" which turned out at the time to be one of the largest live events produced on the web getting an astounding 565,000 visits. In the weeks to follow Playboy Online received over 25 million page views which helped grow Playboy's online presence.

Chris continued to work in Commercials that included the award winning Dirt Devil spot that used vintage Fred Astaire dancing footage. Levi Jeans, Ford and Playing Anywhere. Music videos Chris directed include ATT Will, "Just Another Day in Compton" and "Missing You" featuring Emily Coupe.

Chris has dedicated himself to creatively producing and directing a variety of reality & doc style programs. Projects include Tanked, Miss Universe for NBC, The NBA on TNT, HBO's Journey of The African American Athlete, The Outdoor Room for HGTV, American Ninja Warriors, Take Home Chef for TLC, The Antonio Treatment, Renovation Nation for Discovery, The Real Estate Pros for TLC, Merge with Lisa Rinna for Lifetime, Home Made Simple for OWN, 69 Sexy Things To Do Before You Die for Playboy and Strictly Dr. Drew for Discovery.

Recent Projects include Corrupt Crimes and Motive to Murder for Netflix, 7 seasons of The Great Food Truck Race, WWE's Breaking Ground, 2 seasons of Tanked for Animal Planet, , Top Hooker, Food Paradise, Mike Holmes Buy It Right, CMT's Studio Shake Up, 90 Day Fiancee, BET Awards, Ghost Asylum and All Stuff Inspired.

As of 2026 Chris freelances as a Director/Producer/Consultant and Photographer. Creating & operating his successful Real Beautiful Photography Websites.
