Art Saborio was born Arthur Daniel Saborio (San Diego, California).
His mother, Mary Lou Saborio, is retired, his father, Arturo Enrique Saborio, has passed away, and he has a younger sister named Michelle. His family immigrated from Mexico and Central America in the 1940s. After decades working as a Sr. Manager Software Quality Engineer, he started to dabble in filmmaking.
Although he is known for directing documentaries films, he has done some voiceover character narrations. Since 2020, he has produced and directed A Series of Witches Season 1 (2020). He also followed up with A Series of Witches Season 2, directing, producing, and providing character narration of A Theatre of the Mind (2021-2022).
Art Saborio is married to professional dance performer Nataliya Saborio.
