- Former footballer; who played for Osijek (1984-89), Dinamo Zagreb (1989-91), Sevilla (1991-96), Real Madrid (1996-99), Arsenal (1999-2000), West Ham United (2000-01), and 1860 Munich (2001-03). Suker won 2 caps and scored one goal for Yugoslavia in 1991, and won 69 caps and scored 45 goals for Croatia between 1990 and 2002.
- Was part of the Yugoslavia squad at the 1990 World Cup but didn't get to play, though he later went on to play in the 1998 and 2002 tournaments for Croatia, winning the Golden Boot at the 1998 World Cup. Suker is regarded as one of the best Croatian football players of all time.
