- Grabbed and pulled 3½-year-old Darren Baker away from home plate after the boy ran out of the dugout to pick up Kenny Lofton's bat while teammate David Bell was running full-speed behind Snow. Darren's father, Dusty Baker, later claimed to the media that he was too busy managing San Francisco's 16-4 blowout against the Anaheim Angels to notice that Darren had run onto the field.
