- Fela Kuti was born on October 15, 1938 in Abeokuta, Nigeria. He was a composer and actor, known for The Harder They Fall (2021), Queen & Slim (2019) and Run Fatboy Run (2007). He died on August 2, 1997 in Lagos, Nigeria.
