- French comics drawer, he is the father of caricaturist Barrigue and the uncle of journalist Dominique de Montvalon.
- Studied at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts of Paris. His first published drawing was in 1945. He eventually worked during 35 years for famous French newspaper "Le Figaro". Also published in "Le Point", "Télé 7 Jours", "La Croix", "La Tribune de l'Economie" and "Valeurs Actuelles".
