Biography

Alan Passaro was born on August 23, 1948 in Farrell, Pennsylvania, USA. He died on March 29, 1985 in Morgan Hill, California, USA.

In 1980, he was given a two year prison sentence on a weapons charge and federal racketeering charges in relation to his activities with the Hells Angels. He was released from prison in 1984, and the following year Passaro was found dead wearing a suit and floating in the Anderson Reservoir with $10,000 in his pocket. Cause of death was drowning, though foul play was never confirmed.

Passaro was caught on film stabbing Meredith Hunter and put on trial for murder. However, a close examination of the film revealed that Hunter had pulled a gun first. Subsequently, Passaro was acquitted of the murder charge on the grounds of self-defense.
