Ignacio Ferreyra

Ignacio Ferreyra is a stage director and creator of multimedia and scenic video. He was born in Montevideo, Uruguay but settled in Mexico from an early age. He's founder and Artistic Director of stage theater company Realidades Asimétricas. He studied acting but later specialized in stage direction and multimedia. Although he has directed many plays in a career spanning more than 25 years, his best-known works are those he has done with his current company, Realidades Asimétricas, which include Identities of the void (2019), Concerning will (2020), Fight postcards (2021) and Antisystem (2023). Wills, his feature film debut, has been selected at more than 70 international film festivals and won 50 awards.
