Was Marlon Brando' girlfriend when he first arrived in New York City and was
mentored by her mother, Stella Adler, Marlon's acting teacher at the New
School of Social Research. Brando became very close to the Adler
family, and though their romance didn't work out, they remained
life-long friends.
