Biography

Derek Jax Shattine was born in California. He got into acting at a young age to escape. He always enjoyed all types of films which led him on many adventures, experiences and opportunities to develop the skills in his life in the arts.

His trained out of Boston MA. under casting director Kyle Crand (Audition & Reel Prep) and acting coach Bates Wilder. He has acted in commercials for "LAARS" and 'Pit Stop, TV show:"Castle Rock,"and web series: Modish Gnomes and "Pixelated."

He's acted in movies:"Prepsters", "Boston Strangler", "Don't Look Up", "No Man's Land","Down the Park" and "Spaghetti."

D.J. currently lives outside of Boston MA. with his daughter. He continues to dedicate himself to tasks until they are done, regardless of the difficulties and scarifies by following 3 things: on time, on budget and/or quality.
