Biography

Shawn Woodard attended The Ohio State University and received a bachelor's degree in Business Administration. Woodard then continued his education at Walsh College, receiving his master's degree with honors in 1999. He went on to complete film programs at the Detroit Film Coalition and Comcast Cablevision in 2000.

In 2002 Woodard made his first film R.I.C.C.O. (2002), an action thriller. He went on to produce Office Outbreak (2006), a horror / comedy that premiered at the Bare Bone Script to Screen International Film Festival in October 2006. The film earned Best Picture and Best Cast Runner-up. Woodard also earned the 2006 Oscar Micheaux Award.

Shawn Woodard is not only an acclaimed producer, writer, and director; he also holds a bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and a master’s degree with honors from Walsh College. Woodard has produced several successful, award winning and highly rated films that are streaming worldwide. Woodard also spends his time in between film projects working for the Government and giving back to the community in which he was raised in.
