Biography

Jeffrey C. Robinson is known for Deadpool (2016), Night at the Museum (2006) and Arrow (2012).

Holds a black belt in ITF Tae Kwon Do, and has studied Japanese (Judo, Jiu-jitsu, Karate), Chinese (Wushu) and Filipino (Arnis) martial arts for over 35 years. This can be seen in Robinson's portrayal of 'Deathstroke' in Season 1 of Arrow (2012), where his character utilizes a talibong.

Has played near identical characters in rival comic book adaptations. Robinson was a stunt double for Ryan Reynolds, as Wade Wilson/Deadpool, in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) and also played Bill Wintergreen/Deathstroke in Arrow (2012). Wintergreen is credited as Deathstroke before Slade Wilson/Deathstroke (Manu Bennett) adopts the mantle. It is generally accepted that Marvel's Wade Wilson/Deadpool was a direct rip-off/parody of DC's Slade Wilson/Deathstroke, though the characters have since diverged.

Has played Deadpool and his principal antagonist in different movies. In X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009) he was a stunt double for Ryan Reynolds; in Deadpool (2016) he was stunt double for Ed Skrein (Ajax).
