Linus von Stumberg

Linus von Stumberg found his passion for film through his international job as a dancer and choreographer. In 2019, Linus began studying Film at the University of the Arts. Besides some acting roles, he wrote directed and edited his short film Lion's Cage and made the multiple awarded music video Sunshades. In 2023, he finished his short film Syncope, a dark thriller about dance. For this film he wrote the script, directed, co-edited and played the role of the antagonistic choreographer. Since its world premiere, Syncope got awarded 9 times at international and Oscar-Qualifying film festivals, like Max Ophüls Preis and in Busan. In 2024, Linus is developing the feature film Syncope, based on the short.
