Stuart Ferreyra
- Finishing Colorist
- Online Editor
- Digital Intermediate Colorist
Stuart Ferreyra was born in Los Angeles, California. After completing high school at an unusually young age, he initially pursued medical studies before redirecting his academic path in South America to study Audio Visual Communications, focusing on film, television, and sound.
During his early years in film and television, Stuart produced and post-produced programming for Peru's national television channel. He also developed a strong interest in sound, became active in the music industry, and toured the country as a freelance live-sound mixer for both local and international rock bands.
Stuart returned to the United States with the goal of establishing himself in California's entertainment industry. Arriving in Los Angeles with limited resources he worked a range of jobs while seeking opportunities in post production. His persistence led him to a position at a video post-production facility, he also mixed live shows for a local theme park on weekends.
Recognizing his initiative, the company transitioned him from assistant to editor after he volunteered to cut promotional trailers. In a few short years, he quickly advanced from junior editor to lead editor and eventually was promoted to the senior editor position.
Motivated by the expanding accessibility of technology in post-production, Stuart invested in his own editing system and later founded an independently operated post-production boutique serving filmmakers, independent producers and ad agencies. As the demand for pristine work grew, he expanded the business capabilities to picture finishing and color grading, disciplines that became central to his professional identity.
Stuart has since built a substantial body of work across television, film and advertising, establishing himself as a seasoned Senior Colorist and Finishing Editor. Committed to innovation, Stuart continually develops new methods to deliver refined, expressive, and visually compelling color palettes that support the creative vision of his clients and the changing trends in the entertainment industry. He is also a proud member of the Colorist Society International.
