Biography

Don Vallee is a retired Information Technology Architect who found the acting bug after relocating to Austin, TX. He is the oldest son and fourth born of 10 children. He is happily married to Michele Matzen who was instrumental in getting Don involved in background acting after finding a request for an episode of American Crime TV series that was being filmed in Austin. After that first gig, he was hooked. Don and Michele often perform together and are frequently cast as a couple.

At age 16, spent 2 weeks at Albany Medical Center in the terminal ward battling Stage IV lymphoma. The doctors informed his parents he most likely would not survive, but after a grueling Chemotherapy and Radiation regime, he came out the other side cancer free. He described his treatment as barbaric back in the early 1970's. He has been cancer free for 44 years as of 2020.

Was born in Albany, NY and has 9 siblings.

Distant cousin of crooner, actor Rudy Vallee.
