Biography

Havin Fathi is a Kurdish actress born in Paveh, Iran, a historic city in the mountainous Kurdish region of western Iran. From an early age she developed a strong passion for the arts, particularly theatre and performance.

Although she aspired to pursue formal education in the arts, institutional and social barriers prevented her from studying at Iran’s art universities. Determined to follow her artistic path, Havin continued developing her craft through independent study and active participation in theatre and film projects.

Before leaving Iran, she took part in several artistic and cinematic productions, including the independent Iranian film The Upside-down Triangle, an independent project directed by Hossein Rajabian that was produced in Iran.

Facing repeated limitations that affected her ability to work freely as an artist, Havin eventually decided to leave her home country in order to pursue her career in a more open creative environment.

After relocating to Europe, she continued expanding her experience in international productions and appeared in the epic science-fiction film Dune: Part Two.

Alongside her screen work, Havin maintains a deep passion for theatre, where she continues to develop her acting craft and artistic expression. She is currently based in Europe and actively pursuing opportunities in film, television, and theatre with international creative teams.
