Destinee Monét is an Atlanta-based actress and writer whose work bridges emotional depth and bold storytelling. She stars as Jalisa in the feature film The Secret Between Us, an official selection of the 2025 American Black Film Festival, sharing the screen with Michael Jai White, Lisa Arrindell, and Victoria Rowell. Destinee also brings a fresh twist to the classic story in the slasher film Wicked of Oz, portraying the reimagined character Toto.
On stage, Destinee has captivated audiences as Colleen in The Final Audition (Ruane Productions) and as Angel in Blues for an Alabama Sky (Vanderbilt University) and earned critical recognition for her portrayal of Deirdre in The Calling is in the Body (Actors Bridge Ensemble), which garnered her Most Promising Actor at the Nashville Theatre First Night Awards.
Training at The Working Actors Group under Zuri James, Destinee continues to expand her craft while developing original stories as an award-winning screenwriter with works including Eternal Shadow and This is Forever.
