Mini bio

  • Coralie Rose is an acclaimed Casting Director and founder of Road Casting known some of the most memorable short form projects of the last decade; including the Romain Gavras directed two-part short film Storm featuring Young Lean; the 2025 John Lewis Christmas commercial and Kim Gehrig’s Levi’s Superbowl 2025 advert.

Coralie’s transition into scripted drama happened organically, beginning with contributions to casting on Yorgos Lanthimos's ‘Bugonia’ and casting the Film4 and BFI backed debut feature from Edem Kelman ‘Chairman’, produced by Good Chaos. She also cast Emma Miranda Moore’s debut feature ‘Giants’ - Moore’s previous short ‘That Night’ won Best Ensemble Cast at Cornwall Film Festival and is available on Disney+.

Earlier work includes Samona Olanipekun's short "i and i" produced by Lammas Park - the BAFTA award-winning production company helmed by Steve McQueen - as well as "Gobbl'" directed by CC Wade and produced by the Oscar winning production company SomeSuch.

Primarily based in West London, Coralie splits her time between Paris, London and Lamu on the Kenyan coast. Her mixed African, European, and Syrian heritage and fluency in French and Spanish supports the global aspect to her work which underpins the global scope of her work.

With an emphasis on delivering unique solutions to diverse character briefs, Coralie remains a pioneer of street casting, committed to diversity, equality and inclusion with a particular focus on celebrating under-represented people in advertising and film. Keen to continue nurturing relationships with breakout talent in addition to established actors and their agents Coralie is a proud member of the CDA and grateful to have been recognised with an award recognising excellence in casting at their 2025 ceremony in London.
