Popi Tsapanidou is a Greek journalist, television presenter, media personality, and politician whose public career has unfolded across print journalism, radio, television news, and current affairs broadcasting. Raised in Thessaloniki, she began working at a young age, starting in journalism as a teenager at the newspaper Makedonia, an early step that led to a long and visible presence in Greek media. She went on to build her career through reporting and presenting roles in both public and private broadcasting, first gaining wider professional experience as a reporter and then establishing herself as a familiar on-screen figure in news and magazine programming. Over the years she became known for her work across several major Greek television networks, developing a profile that combined journalistic credibility with a polished and accessible broadcast style. Among her most representative screen credits are the series Dyo xenoi (1997), where she made a guest appearance, and the film Stratos (2014), while her broader television recognition came primarily through her long-running work as a presenter and anchor on major current affairs and news programs.
