- Sreeram Pattathil is a filmmaker from India. A graduate of Delhi University, he began his career as a consultant at Ernst & Young before choosing to follow his passion for cinema by studying Direction from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.
His work spans both fiction and documentary, often exploring themes of identity and everyday resilience. His short film Raman Kutty Is Not a Coward delves into fear and redemption, while his documentary Chala Pudhe, based on Pune’s female bouncers, was officially selected at the Indian Film Festival Stuttgart 2025.
Sreeram was among 18 filmmakers from across Asia - and the only Indian - selected for Asian Film Awards Academy’s International Film Camp 2025. He was also one of eight participants to receive the production grant for his upcoming short film Delivery, which he has written, directed and co-produced. Alongside this, he is working as a writer on a fiction format and independently developing his debut feature film.
