Biography

Alice Goodman was born in 1958 in St. Paul, Minnesota, USA. She is a writer, known for Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) (2014), Great Performances (1971) and The Death of Klinghoffer (2003). She was previously married to Geoffrey Hill.

She was raised Jewish, and converted to Christianity in 1989. She was ordained an Anglican priest in England in 2001.
