Layth Alwatban is a Saudi film director who began his career as an entrepreneur in the technology industry. He pursued deep-sea videography and professional photography as hobbies, which eventually fueled his passion for filmmaking. Layth earned a degree in Communication with a focus on Film and Media Studies from the United States.
He underwent an intensive year-long professional film directing training with MBC and ESRA Cóte D'azur, where he wrote, produced and directed a 48-hour film challenge and directed two short films, further honing his skills as a filmmaker.
Layth has received international recognition for his work, including awards and nominations for films such as "Food for Others" and "The Drum Circle." He is committed to creating films that address cultural and social issues in Saudi Arabia.
