Sibel Tasyurt

Sibel is a film and television professional based in Istanbul, Türkiye. She graduated from Ankara University with a degree in Radio, Television and Cinema and began her career in the camera department as a camera assistant.
Her work has evolved toward digital cinematography and camera technology, leading her to work as a Digital Imaging Technician (DIT). Working closely with cinematographers and creative teams, she is interested in the relationship between technology and visual storytelling.
Beyond the technical side of filmmaking, she is drawn to stories centered on people, emotions, memory, and the quiet details of everyday life. She continues to explore cinema both behind the camera and through her own creative voice, with the long-term goal of writing and directing her own films.
