Biography

Mark Kvitko is a Russian director, screenwriter and composer. He began making films in 2019 before moving to the United States from St. Petersburg, Russia, to study film at NYU Tisch School of the Arts. He has worked in different roles, including executive producer (Next Life feature, 2026); assistant director trainee (Air feature, 2023); worked on student productions; edited commercials; gained industry experience in a production company in Los Angeles. He directed several short films, including Milk Grass, Whiskey, The Somnambulist, Reawakening and Promises. The films were philosophically oriented, with interest in memory, morality, psychology; characterized by a tendency towards a controlled visual style. He also composes neoclassical soundtracks and studied music since childhood.
