Krisztian Erdei

Krisztian Erdei is a Budapest-based Hungarian 2D and 3D compositor and visual effects artist. He is best known for his work on major international productions such as NCIS: Tony & Ziva, Ted Lasso, Afterburn, and A Blind Bargain, alongside numerous Hungarian feature films.
Over six years at IONART Studio, he developed a comprehensive technical skill set spanning both 2D and 3D pipelines. In 2D compositing, his expertise encompasses rotoscoping, clean-up, retouching, and complex CG integration for feature films, television, and commercials. In 3D post-production, his focus centers on game cinematics, where he specializes in lighting, rendering, compositing and facial motion capture (MOCAP) processing, as well as providing on-set technical assistance during MOCAP shoots.
Grounded in a 14-year background as a professional photographer, he brings an organic understanding of cinematic lighting, depth, and realistic composition to his VFX work. His broader creative capabilities also include photo retouching, color grading, video editing, and motion graphics.
