- Vaibhav Gattani is an Indian Filmmaker and the founder of Icescape Films - an independent film production company. His strong desire to tell a story that reaches and touches common people's heart is what keeps him going.
Born in Sangli on 11th October 1994, Vaibhav is an independent filmmaker living in Mumbai who was always interested in filmmaking but was not confident enough about making it as a career. He is a Btech civil engineer and right in his 1st year of engineering he realized that making films is the only thing that he wants to do for the rest of his life. That was the time when he listened to his heart and decided to make a career in films and started learning filmmaking simultaneously. Vaibhav chose the unconventional path of not going to a film school and decided to learn the entire filmmaking on his own. He learnt filmmaking by observing and studying his favorite filmmakers like James Franco, David Fincher, Paul Thomas Anderson, Christopher Nolan and many more.
His specialty is in directing films but he learnt the entire craft of filmmaking as he believe that a good director should always be a filmmaker first and then a director. He has Produced, Directed, Written, Shot, Acted and Edited most of his films. In 2025, he will be releasing 2 projects - 1 feature film titled 'Void' & 1 Web-Series titled 'Bhrakshak'. His films did well at international film festivals and has won several awards!
His strength lies in making a film with Dark and unconventional theme. He tends to end his movie with a lot of questions because he feels that humans have all the answers but not the right questions! He also has a specialization in Vfx!
In 2022, he also won an award for Iconic Debut Filmmaker at Mid-Day International Showbiz Icons 2022.
Vaibhav is on a mission to provide quality entertainment by telling a story that reaches and touches common people's hearts. He feels that the viewers should feel their hard-earned money and precious time worth spending on his content.

In 'Void' (2026), the character Vivek is depicted as a huge John Mayer fan and wears official John Mayer apparel/merchandise. In 'Bhrakshak', characters Anamay and 1-16 sing a line from Mayer's song 'The Heart of Life'.
