Gabriele Moretti is an award-winning Italian filmmaker and sound specialist with over twenty-five years of experience in high-profile international cinema. An alumnus of the prestigious Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (the National Film School in Rome), the legendary institution that shaped the masterminds of Italian auteur cinema.

His technical expertise and narrative sensibility have been instrumental in the success of major productions, including Spike Lee’s Miracle at St. Anna (2008) and the award-winning The Wedding Director (2006). Notably, Moretti was honored with a Silver Ribbon (Nastro d'Argento) for Best Sound for his exceptional work on the critically acclaimed film In Memory of Me (2007).

Having called Ibiza his home for the past 26 years, Moretti has developed a deep, intimate connection with the island's authentic soul. This long-standing relationship inspired his transition into directing with his latest project, Adictas a Ibiza.
