This multi-part documentary series profiles ten distinct women from entirely different socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds. Each standalone episode balances deep, vulnerable interviews with a dynamic, fly-on-the-wall visual style that follows them into their professional trenches, whether it be a high-stakes courtroom, a creative design atelier, a crowded nightclub booth, or a quiet art studio. Structured around three core cinematic devices, the raw vulnerability of waking up, the emotional depth of intimate conversations, and the fast-paced energy of life on the move, Adictas a Ibiza transcends typical travel documentaries. Gabriele Moretti is an award-winning Italian filmmaker and sound specialist with over twenty-five years of experience in high-profile international cinema. An alumnus of the prestigious Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia (the National Film School in Rome), the legendary institution that shaped the masterminds of Italian auteur cinema.

His technical expertise and narrative sensibility have been instrumental in the success of major productions, including Spike Lee’s Miracle at St. Anna (2008) and the award-winning The Wedding Director (2006). Notably, Moretti was honored with a Silver Ribbon (Nastro d'Argento) for Best Sound for his exceptional work on the critically acclaimed film In Memory of Me (2007).

Having called Ibiza his home for the past 26 years, Moretti has developed a deep, intimate connection with the island's authentic soul. This long-standing relationship inspired his transition into directing with his latest project, Adictas a Ibiza. Moving beyond the well-worn tourist clichés, his vision is to reveal what Ibiza truly has to offer, capturing the raw, magnetic energy and the genuine Mediterranean lifestyle that draws creative souls to the island.
