Wilfred Moeschter

Wilfred is a composer for stage and screen from Toronto, Canada. Wilfred has composed music for over 20 short films. He started writing music for theatre productions, and one of his first projects was the original musical A Perfect Bowl of Pho (book/lyrics by Nam Nguyen, additional music by Sam Clark) which had a critically-acclaimed, sold-out run at the 2022 Toronto Fringe Festival and has been published by Playwrights Canada Press. His stylistic versatility and keen ability for emotional storytelling is evident in the wide range of genres that he has written for. He draws inspiration from his favourite composers, particularly in the intimate style of Alexandre Desplat and the emotional melodies of Joe Hisaishi and Koji Kondo.
