- Lourdes Ambriz was born on July 20, 1958 in Mexico. She was an actress, known for Beauty and the Beast (1991), Frankelda's Book of Spooks (2021) and I Am Frankelda (2025). She died on August 28, 2025 in Mexico City, Mexico.
- Awarded for her cultural work with the Mozart Medal in 2006 and the Medal of Fine Arts in Music in 2023.
- In September 2014, she was appointed deputy artistic director of the INBA National Opera Company. Between October 2015 and December 2017 she served as director of the group.
