- Alexis Stember grew up in the theatrically driven community of Fairfield, Iowa. She was cast in her first role as a singing rosebush at age six and has gone on to act in numerous shows, including The Mikado, A Midsummer Night's Dream, The Glass Menagerie, and Dancing at Lughnasa. She trained at Oxford and at the Joanne Baron/D.W. Brown Studio in Santa Monica, California before moving to New York in 2003. In 2006, she starred in the short film "You & I," which was selected for the Cannes Film Festival; wrote and performed 'Lost Melody', a song featured on the soundtrack of the film 'Snow Blind'; and stepped behind the camera to start writing, producing, and directing.
