Biography

El Waili is the artistic name of the Egyptian music producer Kareem Gaber from Upper Egypt. He initiated the El Waili project in 2020 to experiment with noises and sounds that distinguished his music persona and developed his famous 'beat drop'. To date, El Waili has released over 30 singles and two albums featuring numerous singers and rappers from Egypt and the Arab world across the Trap, Pop, Rap, Mahraganat, and Electro Chaabi genres.

In 2023, El Waili ventured into cinema and drama, scoring with the series "The Giza Killer" (directed by Hady El Bagoury, Shahid Original). The series' score was a resounding success, followed by additional acclaimed work on the score of the film "El Harifa 1" and the series "A Moment of Anger" directed by Abdel Aziz El Nagar. In addition to the production of official song for the film "Flight 404" directed by Hani Khalifa, and "The Last Round" series, directed by Maryam Ahmadi.
