Rhemy Ashton

Rhemy Ashton is an Australian-Filipino actor based in Melbourne. In Jimpa, they were cast alongside Olivia Colman and John Lithgow, which screened at the 2025 Sundance Film Festival. Most recently, they wrapped the Hallmark Original A Melbourne Match, playing opposite Mallory Jansen and Ryan Corr. Rhemy also stars as Noah in the dramedy web series Become the One, from the producers of Emo the Musical.
Their body of work includes the upcoming comedy series Dog Park, for the ABC; the Australian drama Wilderness, with Yael Stone; a feature film debut in the Filipino-Australian drama Anak, with sold-out screenings at MIFF22; the Screen Australia-funded dramedy Last Party of Summer; and the surrealist comedy A Former Lover Bakes Themselves into a Pie, which screened at the 2024 St Kilda Film Festival.
They have received acting training at studios in Los Angeles and Australia, including John Rosenfeld Studios, TAFTA's Full-Time program, Brave Studios, and attended the Hunter School of the Performing Arts, where they focused on drama.
In addition to acting, Rhemy has built a creative life with an established career in marketing within the interior design industry. They are also a visual artist, screenwriter, and former interior designer and architectural assistant, holding a bachelor's degree in design (Architecture) with distinction. Raised by the beach in Newcastle and the Mid North Coast, they have maintained a strong swimming practice since their teens.
