Biography

Katie Tillery is a 18-year-old actress based in Cleveland Ohio. In the fall of 2025, she is attending Manhattan School of Music to pursue a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre. Katie has been acting since she was 9 years old, with her start in musical theater. During the pandemic, she took classes to learn how to do film acting and has since been in many short films and one feature film. She has performed in many starring and supporting roles in both film and theater and she enjoys doing local films and productions around the Cleveland area. She has also done some commercial and voice-over work. While she is not on film or on stage, she can be found in orchestras and in the pit for musicals playing percussion.

Katie is known for "A Small Thing" with White Midnight Films, where she played the starring role of Frieda Kreske, a girl who was brought back to life (Frankenstein). This film was for the Cleveland 48-Hour Horror Film Project and won many awards including Best Film and Best Cast awards and was then taken to the contests in Washington D.C.

Her latest feature film, "Chains of Redemption" is a drama, mystery, and thriller directed by Scott E. Brosius. She plays the supporting role of Tilly Curam, a witness to the prosecution. It is still in post-production and is set to premiere on November 5, 2022.

Some of her favorite theater roles include; Roxie Hart (Chicago), Cady Heron (Mean Girls), Gynecia (Head Over Heels), and Cosette (Les Miserables)
