Biography

Advait Patodia is one of the most extraordinary students I have ever met. Exceptionally energetic, enthusiastic and driven, Advait has distinguished himself in his time at Millfield as a young man who excels as an actor and thirsts for exciting experiences. As a member of sixth form drama group CircleOne, Advait has been consistently creative in his approach, working well as a team member and never afraid to put forward his own ideas. The group's ensemble work and devised projects have certainly benefitted from Advait's tireless work and imaginative approaches. Despite his excellence as an actor in full command of sophisticated physical and vocal performance skills, Advait is always more interested in the development and performance of a piece of theatre than he is in his own personal time in the spotlight. In this regard, he shows maturity and wisdom beyond his years. Advait's accomplishments in the world of drama are numerous. At Millfield, aside from his outstanding work with CircleOne, he performed brilliantly in our production of A Christmas Carol, and is currently involved in a film project, as director. In this role, he shows natural flair: he has a clear vision but is adept at listening to others' views and adapting his ideas when necessary. Meanwhile, he masterminds and hosts his own school-based chat show. Advait is a remarkably talented young man. I recommend him without reservation.
