Xutos & Pontapés is known for Tentação (1997), Jornal Nacional (2000) and Rock in Rio (1985).

In 2004 the President of Portugal, Jorge Sampaio, give them a medal of Ordem do Infante D. Henrique.

Members of the band: Tim (vocal and guitar), Zé Pedro (guitar), Kalú (drums), Gui (Saxofon) and João Cabeleira (guitar).
