Biography

Andrew Wildman is a designer/illustrator of some 30 years industry experience. He graduated with a degree in Graphic Design from Leicester Polytechnic, and after working as a designer for a few years moved into the world of comics. His work as an illustrator has been used in advertising and publishing but it is for his work in the field of comics that he is best known. Illustrating for books such as Transformers, The X-Men, Spider-Man and Venom with such acclaimed writers as Larry Hama, Peter David and Ralph Macchio has gained him a devoted fan base. Further work includes character and environment design and animated movie production for the TV and Video Games industries. Design and concept work on games The Mummy,Gunlok, Jesse James: Gunfighter, Delta Force, Largo Winch and Dredd v Death created a presence within the computer games industry.

TV work includes Head Character Designer for the animated TV show Legend of The Dragon, Production Designer and Storyboard Artist for the children's animated TV show The Matt Hatter Chronicles and Production Designer on the upcoming children's series, Ruff-Ruff, Tweet and Dave for animation legends, Collingwood&Co. Andrew was also storyboard artist for the BBC on The Fades, The Interceptor, Our Zoo, Jericho and most of season 7 of Doctor Who with three Christmas Specials including the Matt Smith/ Peter Capaldi 'Regeneration Episode'. His Storyboards have also been used for movies including 'Shut In' Directed by Farren Blackburn and starring Naomi Watts.
