Biography

Dave Swanson has almost 40 years of experience in every aspect of audio mixing and design, as he's been in the entertainment business since 1988. He has been awarded seven gold and platinum records for his efforts in the recording studio, as both engineer and producer. Dave has toured the world and has mixed in the biggest arenas in the world, from Madison Square Garden, Cow Palace, Great Lawn in Washington DC, stadiums in Toronto, Carnegie Hall to Prince Albert Hall, and hundreds more.

Dave Swanson has also successfully explored many avenues in television and motion pictures, and has expertly executed music mixes for many major shows including, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon (2014), Late Night with Seth Meyers (2014), Today (1952), Megyn Kelly Today (2017), Harry (2016), to name a few. Dave regularly transacted production mixing for some of the most demanding shows, such as Specials for NBC's Today (1952), Nightly News, MSNBC, Dateline NBC (1992), as well as in entertainment for Late Night with Seth Meyers (2014), Harry (2016), and others. Additionally, Dave has mastered Front of House mixing and foldback for the above mentioned shows, and many others.

Another dimension to Dave Swanson's expertise in sound design, mixing and composing for motion pictures and commercials. He has continued to build a library of original music for commercial use. From all of his years and miles, Dave brings a tremendous set of tools for the engineering of sound systems in large venues, small venues, and bars.
