- Karolina Esqueda is a filmmaker and visual artist from Tijuana, Mexico, whose work exists at the crossroads of fiction, documentary and dreamscape. Embracing play and experimentation, she crafts stories that blur the boundaries between the tangible and the poetic, often exploring the liminal space where science, memory, and myth intertwine.
A passionate advocate for underrepresented voices in cinema, she is a proud member of Brown Girls Doc Mafia and the Undocumented Filmmakers Collective.
