Firefighter, combat veteran, police officer, boxer, dancer, wrestler, no-holds-barred fighter, dominatrix, porn star and nurse, Chantel Lace has had an eclectic career in both the adult industry and the straight world. She made her adult debut in the early 1990s as an exotic dancer following her honorable discharge from the Army. She was soon discovered by rocker Alice Cooper and was subsequently hired as a theatrical stage dancer for two tours. Chantel starred in a handful of hardcore adult films from 1997-2001, but switched her career focus to fetish fighting, wrestling and topless boxing for several internet and video outlets after her final hardcore feature, "Gladiator." After developing a cult following as a tenacious fighter, Chantel went on to work as a professional dominatrix at the Moonlight Bunny Ranch in Carson City, NV. She was featured on the HBO documentary show Cathouse: the Series. Intent on standing apart from other porn actresses, Chantel has always maintained "straight" careers in conjunction with her work in adult film. She has worked as a truck driver, police officer, corrections officer, and most notably a firefighter. In 2004, She made national headlines when she found herself caught up in a scandal where several members of the Central California volunteer fire department she served with walked out in protest of her pornography career. Despite rumors, she was not terminated because of the incident and contends that she received offers from several other fire districts to join their departments. Chantel resigned from the department following the scandal and is now pursuing other career options, both adult and otherwise.
