Ron "Have Mercy" Kersey was a Grammy Award winning keyboardist,
songwriter, producer and arranger working with artists such as The
Trammps (of which he was an original member), MFSB, The O'Jays, First
Choice, The Temptations, The Salsoul Orchestra, Sweet Thunder, O'Bryan,
Stephanie Mills, Jeffrey Osborne, Gloria Gaynor, Eddie Holman, Evelyn
"Champagne" King, Rockie Robbins, The Four Tops and Patti LaBelle among
many others. His clavinet was heard on many hit records. He suffered a
stroke in 1996 and battled a number of complications since then.
