Chukwuemeka Chinedu, mostly known as Emeka 'Filmwox' Chinedu, is a passionate visual storyteller who began sharing stories in his secondary school years and continued to grow while studying at Lagos State University. He is committed to improving his skills and understanding of cinematography, drawing inspiration from the arts, photography, human behaviour, and life experiences.
An alumnus of the London Film Academy, he has contributed to notable commercials, documentaries, music videos, and narratives such as THE WAIT, ABURO, FUNMILAYO RANSOME KUTI, MIRRORS, WURA, A VERY DIRTY CHRISTMAS and many others listed on IMDb. Collaborating successfully with global brands such as GE VERNOVA, NNPC, and JOHNNIE WALKER, he strives to find innovative ways to craft impactful stories that inspire change and spark meaningful conversations.
Emeka is also on the board of Debra's Palace Initiative, a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young men aged 9-21, transforming lives through strategic programs that unlock potential and foster leadership. Over the past year, more than 3,500 young men have been reached through targeted initiatives designed to inspire, educate, and create meaningful opportunities for the next generation of innovators and change-makers.
He is also a volunteer lead at Volunteers HQ, an organisation that is a structured community of dedicated professionals who volunteer their skills, time, and expertise to support organisations and events.
A strong advocate for collaboration, he is a devoted family man, happily married with two daughters, which helps him maintain a healthy work-life balance.
