- Leka Bungo was born on February 28, 1944 in Vlora, Albania. He was an actor and writer, known for Tre njerëz me guna (1985), Pas fasadës (1992) and Një djalë edhe një vajzë (1990). He died on June 11, 2025 in Tirana, Albania.
- After the '90s, he founded the private theater "Rubairat" near the National Theater, an attempt to bring innovation to the Albanian stage, which unfortunately fell short.
- He worked as a director at the "Bylis" theater in Fier and later at the State Stage, where he brought plays with social themes and pronounced satirical note.
- In 2002, he immigrated to the United States of America, but continued to remain active in the art world until his death.
- He completed his acting studies at the Aleksandër Moisiu school and then attended a directing course at the Higher Institute of Arts.
