Biography

Angel Marte is an American actor born in Meriden, Connecticut, and based in the New York City area. Raised in a vibrant household of Puerto Rican descent, Angel developed a deep passion for visual storytelling at a young age, inspired by his mother's extensive film collection and encouraged by his grandfather, who taught him guitar, barbering, and the value of community respect.

Though his creative imagination flourished throughout his childhood, a high school mentor ultimately encouraged him to pursue performance professionally. He immersed himself in local theater before formalizing his training at the New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts, graduating in 2021.

Driven by emotional authenticity and versatility, Angel delivers compelling, character-driven performances across film and television. He recently starred in his breakout lead role as Eugenio in the television project Bodega (2026). Known for bringing deep empathy and sharp humor to his roles, Angel aims to inspire audiences by portraying complex human experiences that show individual truth outweighs circumstance.
