Biography

Ulf Schirmer was born in Bremen, Germany. He is known for The Devil's Violinist (2013), La Bohème (2002) and Arabella (2014).

According to the label on the 1996 recording of Strauss's "Capriccio," Schirmer was born in 1958. According to the notes on the 2000 recording of Krenek's "Orchesterwerke," he was born 1959.
