Gabriel was born in Tokyo, Japan. He began his career with A Doll's House and has since been featured in VOGUE Magazine and awarded the AMAW BIPOC Scholarship (US). His current features are a recurring guest star for an upcoming Netflix series, Netflix feature, and a supporting role in the shark-thriller Something in the Water from StudioCanal UK.
Raised in an arts-focused household, Gabriel was deeply influenced by his father, a theatre industry professional. This upbringing sparked his passion for both writing and acting. His current writing project, Go For Broke--an Asian-American World War II limited series--placed 3rd in the Vancouver Asian Film Festival & Bell Media Series Development Program. The series is currently in pre-production with Vancouver-based production companies.
Gabriel's upcoming projects include starring in the Filipina comfort-woman drama On The Wings of Sorrow from Filipino-Canadian director Ana de Lara (set for a late Fall 2026 release), and playing the lead role of Taka in Nagoya Ranch, an upcoming Western-Asian period drama currently in pre-production. Commercially, Gabriel represents American sporting company L.L. Bean, and Casio G-Shock in Japan. In addition to his acting career, Gabriel is a former athlete, trained in Muay-Thai, and Kenjutsu.
