This love of movies continued into adulthood and eventually led him to the film community of Wilmington, North Carolina - the home of Screen Gem Studios. His first break was as a sportswriter in the erotic thriller This World, Then the Fireworks (1997) with Billy Zane; he has been active in the business ever since.
