Austin was born in Germany and raised in Galveston and League City,
Texas. His first acting experience was a small role in a stage
production of Pippin at the age of six. Having been raised by two
parents who were acting coaches, his mother is filmmaker Molly Vernon,
Austin has worked extensively in theater, film, music, and radio.
