Xiao Duan is a Rome-based Chinese filmmaker and visual artist. Before moving to Italy in 2019, he lived in France for several years, where he earned a Master's degree in Arts Management and worked as a photographic artist. In Italy, he studied film directing and developed a distinctive style that blends documentary and fiction. His work explores themes of identity, migration, and artistic expression, creating immersive and thought-provoking narratives.
